Head of Software Engineering

We've partnered with one of the fastest growing betting/gaming companies in the world who are opening up a brand new office here in Dubai and now looking for a hands on Head of Engineering to help them truly elevate their product for their huge user base.

In short, they're looking for someone to take full ownership of their technical architecture and engineering roadmap as they begin their codebase unification initiative as they expand into new regions throughout 2025 and beyond.

This role would be great for someone who seriously cares about making an impact with a tech-first organisation, someone who's excited about leading/growing their own engineering team and for someone who's excited about solving deeply challenging technical problems.

Here's what you'll ideally have:

• Recent hands on with Golang (ideally in a leadership role).
• Deep knowledge of a Microservices based architectures.
• Experience unifying or migrating multiple codebases into a single platform (especially with feature toggles/whitelisting).
• Commercial experience with GCP is a huge plus, although AWS/Azure experience is also fine.

Here's what they're offering:

• 40k-50k AED plus benefits.
• A relocation budget provided for candidates who are considering moving to Dubai.
• A remote-first position (1 day per week in the office).
