The Project Manager is responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and deployment of digital systems within the organization. Responsible for managing all aspects of the implementation process, from requirements gathering to system configuration, testing, and user training. He will act as a bridge between vendors, stakeholders, and the development team, ensuring that projects are completed within scope, on time, and within budget while meeting quality standards and stakeholder expectations.


Duties and Responsibilities:

Project Planning and Scope Management

  • Define project scope, objectives, and success criteria in collaboration with stakeholders to align with organizational goals.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource requirements, to guide the implementation process.


Stakeholder Engagement and Communication:

  • Establish clear communication channels with stakeholders at all levels to gather requirements, provide updates, and address concerns.
  • Facilitate stakeholder meetings and workshops to ensure alignment on project goals, priorities, and expectations.


Requirements Gathering and Analysis:

  • Work closely with business stakeholders to elicit, document, and prioritize system requirements and use case scenarios.
  • Conduct a thorough analysis of requirements to identify dependencies, risks, and potential impacts on project scope and timeline.


Vendor Management and Procurement:

  • Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and deliverables to ensure adherence to project timelines and specifications.


Product Evaluation:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define product requirements and criteria for evaluation, taking into account user needs, budget constraints, and technical considerations.
  • Assess the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats (SWOT analysis) of each product to inform decision-making.
  • Facilitate product demonstrations and proof-of-concept trials to evaluate the functionality, usability, and suitability of selected products.
  • Provide recommendations and insights to stakeholders based on the findings of product evaluations, guiding the selection and procurement process.
  • Maintain documentation of product evaluations, including summaries of findings, comparison charts, and recommendations for future reference.


System Configuration and Integration:

  • Oversee the configuration, customization, and integration of digital systems to align with business processes and user workflows.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to ensure seamless integration between new and existing systems and data sources.


Testing and Quality Assurance:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive test plans to validate system functionality, performance, and usability.
  • Coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT) to gather feedback from stakeholders and ensure alignment with business requirements.


Change Management and Training:

  • Develop change management strategies to facilitate user adoption and minimize resistance to system changes.
  • Plan and deliver training sessions and documentation to educate users on new system features and processes.


Risk Management and Issue Resolution:

  • Identify potential risks and issues that may impact project delivery and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Proactively address project challenges and resolve issues to minimize disruptions and delays.


Deployment and Go-Live Support:

  • Coordinate the deployment of digital systems into production environments, ensuring a smooth transition from development to operations.


Project Documentation and Reporting:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including requirements, design documents, test cases, and change logs.
  • Generate regular progress reports and present project updates to stakeholders, highlighting achievements, challenges, and next steps.


Compliance and Governance:

  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and organizational policies throughout the implementation process.
  • Establish governance frameworks and controls to manage project scope, budget, and quality effectively.


Qualifications:

  • Must have experience in implementing SAP S4 HANA (Finance, Asset, Procurement, Reports)Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in project management, with a focus on digital system implementation or related Digital projects.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software.
  • Additional certifications in required (e.g., PMP, Scrum Master, AgilePM) for projects utilizing Agile frameworks.


Key Competencies:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify risks, analyze complex issues, and develop effective mitigation strategies.
  • Strong leadership abilities with experience in leading cross-functional teams and fostering a collaborative work environment.
  • Familiarity with contract management principles and legal considerations related to vendor agreements and procurement processes.
