Python Developer

The candidate would be a self-starter and capable of working independently to high standards of quality. The candidate is expected to perform the following functions:

·6+ years of relevant experience as a Python developer.

·Strong development skills in Microsoft Azure Fundamentals / AWS / React / Angular.

·Experience with developing Azure Functions.

·Exposure to tools like Visual Studio Code.

·Good to have Service Bus, Data Factory & Flask, will be a plus. or Good to have Lambda, EC2, S3.

·Scheduling using Python Script & scheduler.

·Knowledge of Dremio and Pyarrow.

·Hands-on experience with wide variety of data platforms such as Oracle, and Microsoft SQL Server.

·Strong understanding of Microsoft Azure services and technologies, including VMs, storage, networking, security, and application services.

·Metadata definition and management via data catalogs, service catalogs, and stewardship tools such as Microsoft Purview.

·Knowledge of UNIX shell scripts is a plus.

·Test programming using automated testing frameworks, data validation and quality frameworks, and data lineage frameworks.

·Data ingest, validation, and enrichment pipeline design and implementation.

·Strong understanding of data pipelines; should be able to work with REST, SOAP, FTP, HTTP, and ODBC

·Technical skills required are cited above.

·Ability to communicate well, both verbal and written.

·Superior team skills.

·Ability and willingness to propose creative and optimal solutions.

·Proficiency in writing ANSI SQL queries.

·Knowledge of Oracle tools and technologies - Oracle 19c, SQL, PL/SQL, SQL Loader.

·Knowledge of Business Objects, Power BI, Dremio
