Python Developer - 12 Month Contract - Australian Tech Leader

Are you a passionate developer ready to take on a high-impact modernisation project? We're looking for talented individuals to join a brand new project and help design, develop, and migrate critical automations to a cloud container platform.


This role offers a chance to work with cutting-edge technologies, modern Python frameworks, and scalable event-driven architectures.



What You’ll Do:


As a key member of the team, you will:

  • Develop and Optimize: Build Python-based applications using modern frameworks like FastAPI, Flask, or Django, and implement asynchronous programming with asyncio.
  • Innovate with Event-Driven Architectures: Design and manage scalable systems using RabbitMQ and Celery.
  • Integrate Seamlessly: Work on consuming and integrating event-driven data feeds, SOAP, and REST APIs using tools like Zeep, Requests, or aiohttp.
  • Analyze and Enhance: Use libraries like Pandas for data manipulation and processing.
  • Collaborate and Create: Partner with business owners, project teams, and tech stakeholders to deliver high-impact solutions.



What We’re Looking For:


  • Must-Have Skills:Strong experience with Python frameworks (FastAPI, Flask, Django).
  • Expertise in asynchronous programming and concurrent processing.
  • Proficiency with Celery for workflow management.
  • Ability to work with SOAP/REST APIs and manipulate data using Pandas.
  • Nice-to-Have Skills:Knowledge of message queue libraries like Kombu.
  • Familiarity with XML parsing (e.g., BeautifulSoup).
  • Experience with front-end tools like Streamlit, Dash, or Plotly.
  • Advanced data processing skills using NumPy or PySpark.
  • Exposure to monitoring tools like Splunk or Datadog.
