The Project Manager will lead a project that will procure and implement an emergency resource management solution for Agriculture Victoria to enhance Agriculture Victoria's biosecurity and agriculture emergency responses.

This position will be responsible for meeting timeframes, managing risks, collaborating and negotiating with stakeholders and managing contracted works.

This role requires excellent project management and communication skills, strong liaison and negotiation skills as well as demonstrated ability to problem solve and make decisions to achieve required outcomes.

The successful applicant will work effectively as a member of a team, enjoy flexible working arrangements and have the ability to work proactively with a cross section of business areas to deliver project results.

Specialist/Technical Expertise/Qualifications

  • A tertiary degree or industry recognised qualification in the development and management of business and information systems would be well regarded.
  • Experience in designing and implementing complex information technology or business systems would be well regarded.

This is a fixed term position available for a period until 30 June 2026. The work location for this position is flexible within Victoria with hybrid work arrangements available.
