๐Ÿ“ Location: Fully Remote


Role Overview:

As an Indie Game Developer on our team, you'll play an instrumental role in bringing our visions to life, translating creative concepts into immersive gameplay. We're searching for passionate developers who thrive in dynamic environments and are eager to leave their mark on the gaming industry.


Key Responsibilities:


๐ŸŽฎ Develop & Optimize Gameplay Systems โ€“ Implement, refine, and optimize mechanics that make gameplay feel incredible.

๐Ÿ›  Build Interactive Worlds โ€“ Work with designers and artists to bring environments, characters, and effects to life using Unity, Unreal Engine, or proprietary tools.

โšก Prototype & Iterate โ€“ Rapidly create and test new gameplay features, ensuring smooth performance and engaging player experiences.

๐ŸŽจ Support Technical Art & VFX โ€“ Assist in shader programming, procedural generation, or performance optimization for next-level visuals.

๐Ÿ” Debug & Polish โ€“ Identify and fix performance bottlenecks, memory leaks, and gameplay bugs to ensure a flawless experience.

๐Ÿค Collaborate Across Teams โ€“ Work closely with game designers, animators, and sound engineers to ensure all systems align seamlessly.


Requirements:


โœ… Proficiency in Unity or Unreal Engine โ€“ Strong experience with C# (Unity) or C++ (Unreal) and an understanding of engine workflows.

โœ… Game Development Experience โ€“ Youโ€™ve worked on at least one shipped title (AAA, indie, or live-service).

โœ… Strong Problem-Solving Skills โ€“ Ability to tackle complex technical challenges, from physics simulations to AI behavior.

โœ… Performance Optimization โ€“ Experience with memory management, rendering pipelines, and multi-threaded programming.

โœ… Team Player Mentality โ€“ Great communication skills and a passion for working collaboratively in a creative environment.


Nice to Haves:


โœจ Scripting or Shader Knowledge โ€“ Experience with HLSL, GLSL, Blueprints, or VFX programming.

๐Ÿ•น Indie or Live-Service Experience โ€“ Background in an agile dev environment or supporting ongoing game updates.

๐Ÿค– AI & Procedural Generation โ€“ Interest in crafting smarter NPCs, adaptive gameplay, or dynamic environments.
