Data Scientist

My client within the insurance space in Amsterdam are looking for an experienced data scientist to join their team and help them embrace

Responsibilities:

- Collecting and interpreting data from multiple sources, both internal and external.

- Cleaning and validating data to ensure accuracy, completeness, and reliability.

- Analyzing complex datasets using statistical methods and data visualization tools.

- Analyse historical claims data to identify key risk factors and predict future claims trends

- Build models to identify fraudulent claims and minimise losses.

- Integrate machine learning and artificial intelligence into the everyday workflow of the business

Requirements:

• Strong academic background. Ideally a masters in a related field (data science, computer science, econometrics, mathematics etc.)

• Strong Python and SQL skills

• 2+ years of experience in Data Science

• Experience with machine learning models is a plus

• Experience with stakeholder management is a plus but not required

Salary Package:

• Up to €90,000 per annum (D.O.E)

• Travel allowance

• Hybrid working (1 day per week in the office)

• Digital nomad policy (can work multiple weeks of the year abroad)
