Responsibilities
Job Description
- Work on the migration from PHP monoliths to the new microservice architecture
- Lead the end-to-end development of scalable and high-performance solutions ensuring alignment with business objectives and technical requirements.
- Design and development of microservices (Go) in accordance with established standards
- Set and enforce high standards of code quality, implement best practices in code reviews, automated testing, and continuous integration processes
- Ensure proper service alerting, perform service monitoring and incident mitigation
- Share Knowledge: Evolve junior developers, sharing knowledge and best practices, and guiding them through complex technical challenges.
- 2 years+ of work experience as a Go Software Engineer
- 5 years+ of work experience as a Software Engineer
- Knowledge of architecture/design methods and patterns, data and API specifications, quality assurance, and testing methods
- Experience in software development, supporting the design and development of large-scale, distributed software applications
- Experience in writing idiomatic Go code, and following the Go conventions for clean and well maintainable application
- Experience in migrating PHP7+ (Laravel, Symfony) monoliths to Go microservices is desirable
- Experience with MySQL, Postgres, and working with large data volumes
- Experience with microservices and cloud architectures (ex. Google Cloud Platform, Docker)
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to apply logical and analytical thinking to complex problems
- Maintain high standards of software quality within the team by establishing good practices and habits
- English intermediate (B1)
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent collaboration skills, with the ability to work autonomously in a team environment
