About the project, we need power for:

In cooperation with one of our clients, who is a financial technology company, we develop leading software solutions for asset tokenization. The clients benefit from all building blocks, services, and licenses needed to issue tokenized securities and manage decentralized security registries. The presence of a high number of intermediaries like banks and custodians leads to high transaction costs on the capital market. We use Distributed Ledger Technology to provide a global capital market 2.0 that works for everyone without intermediaries. We’re on this mission to create a more open access to capital and therefore more thriving ideas coming to life.

Tasks

We are looking for a Junior Python Developer to ensure the availability of well-performing and easy-to-use APIs that empower our frontend team and API customers to implement user stories efficiently, ultimately increasing our development velocity.

Besides this, your activities will include:

⏩ Development of backend functionality to support user stories.

⏩ Writing and maintaining unit tests and optionally integration tests to ensure code reliability.

⏩ Regularly conducting code reviews to uphold code quality and best practices.

⏩ Ensuring the availability and functionality of backend services (taking part in the role rotation as an alert manager with other backend developers).

⏩ Taking responsibility for our monitoring & alerting stack to maintain service reliability.

⏩ Continuously identifying and suggesting improvements to development processes and product features.

⏩ Effective collaboration with frontend developers, DevOps engineers, and other stakeholders.

⏩ Understanding business processes within a regulated financial environment.

⏩ Embracing a DevOps culture within the engineering team to enhance efficiency and collaboration.

Requirements

You shall bring:

✅ Practical Python coding skills

✅ Practical experience with unit testing

✅ Knowledge of REST-APIs

✅ Willingness to learn and pragmatic problem-solving skills

✅ Fluent in English

Nice to have:

✅ Experience with Django framework or any other web framework

✅ Practical skills in REST APIs

✅ Knowledge of SQL databases

✅ Logging best practices

✅ Monitoring & Alerting, any tooling

✅ Experience with Docker & Kubernetes

✅ Knowledge of Linux

✅ Any knowledge in AWS
