Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled iOS Engineer to join our mobile development team. This role focuses on enhancing and maintaining a live iOS application built on a robust client-server model, integrating complex API functionalities. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deliver scalable and high-performing features while ensuring a seamless user experience.

As part of our team, you will leverage your expertise in Swift, SwiftUI, and API integrations to solve challenging problems and make meaningful contributions to our application's evolution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and optimize our flagship iOS application within a distributed system architecture.
• Collaborate with backend teams to integrate RESTful APIs and ensure efficient client-server communication.
• Design and implement scalable, secure, and maintainable code for new features and enhancements.
• Monitor and improve application performance, ensuring it meets high standards for speed, responsiveness, and scalability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues in real-time, working closely with QA and backend teams.
• Adhere to industry best practices in mobile application development, ensuring robust and reliable implementations.
• Conduct code reviews to uphold high coding standards and mentor junior developers as needed.
• Stay informed of the latest trends in iOS development, API design, and client-server communication strategies.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 3+ years of experience in iOS development, with a strong understanding of client-server architecture and API-driven systems.
• Expertise in Swift and SwiftUI for building modern, scalable iOS applications.
• Comprehensive knowledge of RESTful APIs, JSON parsing, and secure data handling.
• Proficiency in handling network communication, error handling, and performance optimization in API-based architectures.
• Familiarity with advanced data handling techniques, including Combine and asynchronous programming patterns.
• Solid understanding of memory management, threading, and application lifecycle management.
• Experience with App Store distribution, including provisioning, certificates, and release cycles.
• Strong debugging and diagnostic skills, with experience using tools like Instruments, Crashlytics, or Sentry.
• Proficient with Git and collaborative development workflows.
• Demonstrated contributions to high-scale, API-intensive applications or open-source projects.
