Senior Product Designer (UX/UI)

We’re looking for a Senior Product Designer to join our talented and growing Design team in Oslo, Drammen or Sandefjord. You’ll work in an agile and cross functional teams focusing on creating a unique experience for users of our HR software. Together with a Product Manager and a Tech Lead, you'll form the product trio for given product areas, solving customer problems by working closely with the development team(s) situated in Norway and/or India.

As a Senior Product Designer at CatalystOne, you'll play a key role in designing and refining user experiences that are intuitive, engaging, and impactful. You'll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, engineers to design great experiences by crafting elegant digital interfaces that meet business and user needs.

• Lead the end-to-end user-centered design process, from research and ideation to prototyping and final execution
• Conduct user research, facilitate workshops and usability testing to inform design decisions
• Develop and maintain user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI designs
• Ensure alignment with our Design System and contribute to growing it based on arising needs
• Collaborate closely in an agile environment with product managers and engineers (situated in Norway and/or India) to ensure seamless implementation of designs
• Continuously iterate and improve designs based on data, feedback, and user insights
• Contribute to the development of our design expertise through knowledge sharing and help developing best practices
• Advocate for best UX/UI practices and maintain design consistency across products
• Stay up to date with industry trends, tools, and best practices

• 7 years or more with professional UX/UI / product design experience. Relevant experience from SaaS or tech-driven environments is an advantage. We are looking for someone with a good understanding of the UX domain, from knowing the full Product Discovery process and techniques to be using the design tools (e.g., Figma) and design systems at hand
• Experience from working with complex B2B systems and you understand how this affects the domain of product design
• Experience with design systems and component libraries
• Strong understanding of UX principles, user psychology, and interaction design
• Ability to translate business goals into user-friendly experiences
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively convey design concepts and rationale to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Have good communication skills in English. Good communication skills in one or more of the Scandinavian languages is preferable but not a requirement
• Pragmatic and proactive mindset with energy and motivation to be part of an ambitious and growing company
• Strong portfolio showcasing design process, user research, and final UI solutions
• Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar
