The role:

Proxymity is looking for a talented engineering team lead who specialises in web development who can lead the technical strategy for the development of our various UI's across our growing product set. The role will require managing and supporting our team of web developers who are contributing to a variety of product roadmap initiatives as well as contributing with hands on coding when required. This is a unique opportunity to help grow our market presence by playing a crucial role in delivering our exciting product roadmap.

Requirements

• 5 years+ experience of designing, building, & maintaining SPAs
• 3 years+ experience of leading engineering teams and managing the performance and personal development of engineers
• Previous experience of defining and successfully implementing web development strategy
• Strong experience of the Angular framework including Angular Material and AG Grid
• A strong understanding of reactive programming paradigms and practical experience of RxJS
• A strong understanding of test driven development and practical experience of writing unit tests using Karma & Jasmine
• An expert understanding of Javascript/Typescript and best practices especially design patterns and OOP
• HTML5, CSS, SCSS
• Good knowledge of REST API standards and best practices
• Experience of ReactJS desirable but not essential
• AWS (Cognito, Cloudfront, Lambda) desirable but not essential
