Fullstack Developer (eCommerce Experience), 6-months contract

This is a 6-month contract position with a leading company in the AI/Tech industry. Experience in building eCommerce platforms like Shopify or similar platforms is a must.

The ideal candidate should have experience in PHP, Hack/Java, react and Python.

Responsibilities:

• Design, code, test, document, implement, and maintain application programs and interfaces.
• Modify, enhance, and prepare technical documentation for developed tools and solutions.
• Evaluate requests for enhancements, and identify opportunities to optimise and simplify the solutions.
• Work closely with product, design, support and other cross functional teams to define and refine project
• Technical design, implement and test (unit and end to end) complex project features and ensure hitting the project release timeline.
• Design and develop front-end interfaces, underlying APIs, or backend systems across a number of programming languages such as JavaScript, PHP(Hack)/Python

Requirements:

• At least 4 years of fullstack development experience preferably with JavaScript, PHP or Python. Experience building APIs and UI.
• Experience with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) of full-stack projects with industry-wide impact.
• Experience working backend ecommerce systems.
• Proficient with decentralized source control management tools such as Git and Mercurial.
• Bachelor or advanced degrees in Computer Science or STEM fields
• Experience developing an enterprise product built with high quality
• Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage one’s time.
• Ability to troubleshoot issues and make system changes as needed to resolve issues or bugs in a timely manner.
