Information Security Consultant

My Global IT Client is looking for an Information Security Consultant to strengthen the security posture by evaluating existing security controls, supporting security operations, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in security monitoring, incident response, and risk management, along with strong technical documentation skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess and enhance current security controls to mitigate risks and strengthen cybersecurity measures.
• Develop and maintain security documentation, including system security assessments, design documents, and incident reports.
• Monitor and analyze security alerts from SIEM systems, IDS/IPS, firewalls, and other security tools.
• Investigate security incidents, determine root causes, and implement corrective measures.
• Coordinate with third-party vendors for forensic analysis and security investigations.
• Collaborate with IT teams to implement security measures and mitigate potential threats.
• Stay updated on the latest cybersecurity trends and best practices.
• Prepare and present security reports and recommendations to stakeholders.

Requirements:

• Experience in cybersecurity operations, application security, and platform security.
• At least 5 years of experience in one or more security domains, including but not limited to:

Security and Risk Management, Security Architecture and Engineering, Identity and Access

Management, Network Security and Communications, Security Assessment and Testing, S

Software Development Security

• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud (experience with other cloud platforms will also be considered).
• Familiarity with enterprise security implementation and virtualization technologies.
• Basic understanding of cloud security, system security, and infrastructure operations.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks, tools, and best practices.

Due to Security clearances required for the role, this is only open to candidates in Singapore.
