We’re looking for a passionate and driven Lead Data Governance and Management professional to help shape Snoonu’s data strategy. This role is perfect for a highly analytical individual with a growth mindset who thrives in both data engineering and analytics.

(Some of) What you will be doing:

• Data Integration & Governance: Lead initiatives in data integration, management, and cybersecurity, utilizing advanced tools like Data Catalogs, MDM, and Data Quality frameworks.
• Collaboration: Partner with Data Owners to implement effective governance processes, frameworks, and forums.
• Standards & Policies: Develop and enforce enterprise-level data governance policies, metadata standards, and SOPs to ensure compliance and quality.
• Risk & Cybersecurity: Build and execute governance and cybersecurity strategies, including risk assessments, mitigation plans, and awareness programs.
• Frameworks & Tools: Implement industry frameworks like DAMA, NIST, and COBIT to standardize governance practices.
• Self-Service BI: Lay the foundation for an enterprise-wide self-service BI suite, ensuring adherence to robust data protocols.

Attitude matters most but do you have any of these?

• Experience: 5+ years in fast-paced organizations (start-up experience preferred).
• Education: STEM graduate with a strong foundation in data management and analytics.
• Technical Skills: Expertise in Google’s data tech stack and open-source solutions.
• Mindset: Analytical thinker with a passion for problem-solving and a keen focus on growth.
