Description

We are looking for a Senior Release Train Engineer to join our client.

The project deliverables include mobile applications, a cloud backend in Azure, web interfaces, and integration with legacy systems.

Responsibilities

• Work alongside the Program Manager to facilitate PI (Program Increment) planning.
• Identify and remove obstacles to team progress.
• Provide expert guidance on managing risks and dependencies.
• Coach team members in Lean, Agile, and Scrum methodologies.
• Act as a servant leader, steering the Agile Release Train (ART) toward successful delivery and continuous improvement.
• Manage project scopes, timelines, and stakeholder expectations.
• Encourage collaboration among analysts, UX designers, product managers, and solution designers to ensure the efficient delivery of solutions.

Skills:

• Master’s degree in a relevant field.
• Strong technical background with experience in cloud development and front-end development.
• Deep understanding of Agile principles and practices.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Experience in managing cross-functional teams.
• Ability to balance strategic thinking with practical execution.
• A passion for continuous learning and improvement.
• Proven experience working with C-level executives.
• Expertise in creating strategic roadmaps.
• Ability to align initiatives with broader organizational goals.
• A strong sense of responsibility.
• Proficiency in spoken, written, and reading English.
• Proficiency in spoken, written, and reading Dutch and/or French.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to stand firm within the team when required.
• Good knowledge of source control (Git) and the application of unit testing.
• Familiarity with SAFe/Scrum frameworks.
• Remote work is available up to three days a week, with flexibility for more if needed.
