Freelance IT Network Engineer

Our client is a Pharmaceutical company based in Belgium that are searching for an experienced Network Engineer to join their department.

The client is looking for a candidate who will be confident in doing the following:

• Campus Switching & Routing.
• Perform the lifecycle management of the end-of-life hardware by replacing the old hardware with new hardware.
• Gather the necessary information and configuration together with the local site owners. Prepare the configuration, the technical change document/runbook and the deployment activity plan.
• Provide technical support and configuration changes.
• Provide documentation.
• Network Deployment, Design & Troubleshooting
• Design, configuration and testing of LAN / WAN network and security solutions
• Provide support at 3rd/4th line level to resolve complex network issues
• Capacity planning and monitoring
• Responsible for network incidents, changes, problems
• Engage with strategic vendors and service providers to deliver projects and resolve incidents

• Implementation of network solutions in broadband core network environment
• Configuration and troubleshooting

Minimum of 5 Years experience in Networking, Infrastructure or Data Centres is required.
