DeFi Liquidity Quant

Career Renew is recruiting for one of its clients a DeFi Liquidity Quant - this is a fully remote role, but candidates need to be based in CET +/-3 timezones.

We are seeking a highly skilled and analytical DeFi Liquidity Quant to drive the growth of our decentralized financial ecosystem. In this role, you will design, optimize, and execute liquidity strategies, manage on-chain and operational responsibilities, and develop new systematic strategies with a focus on DeSci. This is an exciting opportunity to work at the intersection of blockchain, biotech, and decentralized finance, shaping the future of DeSci and driving meaningful innovation.

What You'll Be Doing

Liquidity Management

• Oversee liquidity provisioning across DAOs and decentralized exchanges (DEXs) for governance tokens and intellectual property tokens (IPTs)
• Manage liquidity pools, token launches, and auction parameters for DAOs to ensure seamless operations
• Develop and implement strategies for effective treasury management, including BIO tokens and bioDAO assets
  
  
  

Token and Auction Operations

• Lead token launch initiatives, including governance tokens and IPTs after auctions
• Optimize auction parameters for DAOs to maximize funding efficiency and participation
  
  
  

On-Chain Operations and Security

• Manage on-chain operations, including multisig security and treasury activities
• Ensure accurate accounting and tracking of all on-chain transactions and operations
  
  
  

Analytics and Platform Management

• Maintain and update key platforms such as CoinGecko, CoinMarketCap (CMC), Dexscreener, and others
• Analyze market data to track token performance and liquidity metrics, providing actionable insights
  
  
  

Sales and Off-Ramping

• Handle over-the-counter (OTC) deals and token sales, ensuring compliance and operational efficiency
• Provide support for on-off ramping into labs and other areas of the ecosystem
  
  
  

Quantitative Modeling and Risk Management

• Build quantitative models for liquidity optimization, risk assessment, and pricing strategies
• Identify and mitigate risks related to slippage, impermanent loss, and other DeFi-specific challenges
  
  
  

Requirements

3+ years in quantitative finance, DeFi, or a similar role with a focus on liquidity management and optimisation.

Proven track record working with decentralised governance (DAOs), treasury management, and familiarity with biotech funding models and tokenised scientific IP.

Strong proficiency in Python, R, or similar programming languages for quantitative analysis. Familiarity with Solidity and blockchain development is a plus.

In-depth understanding of DeFi protocols, AMMs, yield farming, tokenomics, and liquidity pools. Hands-on experience in designing tokenomics or DeFi incentive programs.

Proven experience in on-chain operations, treasury management, and managing token launches.
