Senior Network Engineer

As a Senior Network Engineer in our InfraDev team, you will play a pivotal role in designing and maintaining the critical network infrastructure that powers our cloud services. This position offers you a unique opportunity to work at the cutting edge of network technology while actively shaping the strategic direction of a fast-growing Cloud Service Provider.

You will collaborate closely with various teams and managers, leveraging your extensive networking expertise to drive crucial projects that will form the foundation of Genesis Cloud's future success. Your work will directly impact our ability to deliver high-performance, secure, and reliable network solutions to our customers.

• Deploy and maintain internal services for monitoring

Internet Administration

• Configure internet routers for optimal performance
• Implement peering agreements

Data Center engineering

• Cleanly rack systems and run cables
• Design of racking plans around constraints for networking and power
• Documenting new and existing installations
• Hardware and vendor selection

Documentation and Automation

• CI/CD with GitHub actions
• Jira, Confluence
• Git, GitOps where possible

Infiniband Administration

• Monitor our Infiniband Infrastructure

Linux System Administration

• Monitor and maintain systems
• Specifying, debugging, or writing small helper tools in bash or python
• Using systemd, docker and VMs to configure critical services

Switch System Administration (Mostly SONiC)

• Debugging routing problems
• Monitor and maintain systems

Operational experience in an IT infrastructure environment, with experience in networking, automation, a proactive mindset, with the ability to look ahead and think big.
