We are looking for a PHP developer with a passion for his work, who thinks that programming is a craft, integral and important part of the profession. We value individuals who are proactive, looking for solutions, full of courage to innovate and take on new challenges.

The DMS Team (Delivery Management System) is responsible for the delivery of all eMAG and Fashion Days orders, transfers, returns in Romania, Bulgaria and Hungary. The application is a core one for the logistic operations as it is used for courier management, applying delivery restrictions, AWB tracking and more. Our flows directly impact the showrooms and warehouses. We also have adjacent applications that we created and manage with the latest technologies, for example:

Dtus – High performance app with Redis and Mongo that gives product delivery estimates

DPN – Products management system with Varnish cache and k8s deployment

DAC – Automated balancing of courier capacity

What you’ll have to do:

• Following AGILE development methodologies to deliver high quality software products and client-oriented projects
• Analyze the project and estimate software development
• Design, code and test technical solutions while seeking optimal performance and clean code principles
• Performing code reviews and contributing to technical design discussions
• Debug and efficiently correct issues found by testers or peers
• Proposing improvement ideas for the applications, procedures and technologies used
• Documenting and sharing knowledge to other team members

How we’d like you to be:

• Experience with PHP 7+ and MySQL
• Good programming knowledge (HTTP Requests, API, REST, GIT, Unit Tests)
• Previous work experience with any modern Framework (Symfony, Yii, Laravel, Laminas, etc)
• Writing high quality code that is testable and maintainable
• Staying up to date with emerging technologies/industry trends and apply them into operations and activities

Will be a plus:

• Basic understanding of High Availability, Load Balancing, Performance Tuning, Security, Docker, Linux, K8s, Redis, Mongo
• Experience with RabbitMQ, Memcache, Redis.
