Robert Half is seeking a skilled Marketing Data Analyst to join our clients team for a 11-month contract, with potential to extend. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in marketing analytics and data manipulation, with a focus on understanding and fulfilling the needs of marketing stakeholders. This Marketing Data Analyst role will work hybrid on-site in Burnaby and involves collaborating closely with various teams to ensure effective campaign targeting and segmentation, utilizing tools such as Unica and SQL. The successful Marketing Data Analyst candidate will play a key role in driving our clients marketing efforts forward through data-driven insights and predictive modeling.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with marketing stakeholders to understand campaign objectives and target audience requirements.
- Utilize Unica and SQL to perform segmentation analysis and effectively segment campaign lists.
- Conduct predictive modeling to create flowcharts, targeting criteria, and suppression lists for campaigns.
- Assist in the integration of Acoustic for email automations and customer journey mapping.
- Review and optimize marketing campaigns through data analysis, identifying areas for improvement and recommending actionable insights.
- Manage a backlog of marketing data tasks, ensuring prioritization aligns with business objectives.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in marketing analytics and data manipulation.
- Support the launch of new product lines with a focus on digital-first marketing strategies.
What you bring:
- Proven experience as a Marketing Data Analyst or similar role, with a strong background in marketing analytics.
- Proficiency in SQL is essential; experience with Unica or similar marketing automation tools is preferred but not required.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Statistics, Data Science, or related field.
- Ability to perform segmentation analysis and interpret complex data sets to drive actionable insights.
- Experience with predictive modeling techniques and familiarity with flowchart creation.
- Detail-oriented with a passion for accuracy in data analysis and reporting.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
