As we continue to grow, data-driven decision-making is critical to our success. We are looking for a Head of Business Intelligence (BI) who is both a hands-on expert and a strategic thinker to help shape and scale our BI function from the ground up.

This is a foundational, hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives on doing the work while building a department. As the Head of BI, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining our data infrastructure, providing actionable insights across both sports betting and online casino, and ensuring data integrity and compliance.

This role will work closely with the CTO, COO and all key stakeholders to optimize both customer experience and business operations, ensuring that insights drive strategic decisions across marketing, product, compliance, and player engagement. Responsibilities:

Hands-On Execution & Leadership

• Develop, maintain, and optimize BET99’s data warehouse, ensuring scalability across both sports betting and casino.
• Own and execute BI initiatives, from data extraction and transformation (ETL) to dashboard creation and predictive modeling.
• Deliver real-time, actionable insights to improve customer experience, player retention, and operational performance.
• Implement self-service analytics tools to empower stakeholders with on-demand access to critical data.
• Ensure data integrity, governance, and security, working closely with compliance teams to meet AGCO, iGO, and industry regulations.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Work closely with the COO and all key stakeholders to leverage data in optimizing customer journeys and business efficiency.
• Partner with marketing, product, compliance, player engagement, finance, and operations teams to define and track key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Work with engineering and IT teams to integrate and optimize third-party data sources.
• Support customer segmentation, retention modeling, and player behavior analysis across both sports betting and casino.
• Develop automated reporting and real-time dashboards to provide insights into betting trends, casino gameplay, and player engagement.

Technology & Data Innovation

• Optimize Power BI, SQL-based querying, and other analytics tools to enhance reporting efficiency.
• Leverage AI, predictive analytics, and machine learning to enhance sports betting risk management, casino player behavior modeling, and promotional effectiveness.
• Explore new BI tools and methodologies to ensure BET99 remains at the forefront of data-driven innovation.

Experience:

• Hands-on BI leader who can execute independently while laying the foundation for future growth.
• 5+ years of experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, or a related field.
• Strong expertise in SQL, Power BI, ETL processes, and data warehousing.
• Experience with iGaming, online casino, sports betting, or regulated industries (preferred but not required).
• Ability to analyze complex datasets and translate insights into business strategy.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
• Experience with BI-related infrastructure such as AWS (Redshift, S3, Glue), GCP, Azure, Snowflake, or BigQuery, and a strong understanding of cloud-based data architectures.
• Experience with AI and machine learning infrastructure, including data pipelines for AI models, real-time decisioning systems, and AI-driven analytics platforms (e.g., AWS SageMaker, TensorFlow, Databricks, Vertex AI).
