ROLE

Level: Consultant

As a Consultant at Deloitte Consulting, you will be responsible for individually delivering high quality work product within due timelines in agile framework. On requirement basis consultants will be mentoring and/or directing junior team members/liaising with onsite/offshore teams to understand the functional requirements. You will have multiple responsibilities depending on project type implementation, migration, maintaining, enhancements.

The work you will do includes:

• Programming applications to be optimized to work within constructs of a public cloud environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
• Developing templates or scripts to automate everyday developer or operations functions
• Monitor and maintain multiple CI/CD pipeline automation (DevOps) environments based on client requirements
• Setting up or managing backups and patching across the environments
• Identifying new tools and processes to improve the cloud platform and automate processes
  
  

Qualifications

Skills / Project Experience:

Must Have:

• 3 - 6 years of hands-on experience in
• Understanding of multi-tier application architectures
• Experience in creation of CI/CD automation using standard Industry Tools – Jenkins, Github Actions, Bamboo, Cloud CI/CD Services, GitLab
• Experience in performing Static Code Analysis, Code Coverage, generating vulnerability reports using tools like, SonarQube, Veracode, Blackduck, Coverity, etc.
• Working knowledge on Docker and Kubernetes related tools and cloud services.
• Working knowledge on different Branching Strategy, GIT Commands
• Ability to develop, test and maintain programming environments and architectural standards
• Experience of one of the scripting languages YML, Groovy, Python, Bash Scripting.
• Experience with configuration management tools either of Ansible, Chef or Puppet
• Having handson experience on advanced monitoring using Dynatrace, Datadog, Splunk, ELK.
• Experience with one of the Database like MongoDB, RDS, Oracle, MySql and NoSQL
• Foundational understanding of application development lifecycle and using tools like ANT, Maven, Gradle, NPM
• Strong understanding and experience configuring, managing and supporting applications using one of the tools Datadog and CloudWatch on AWS, ELK, Splunk, OpsWorks.
• Experience with working in an agile development lifecycle and continuous integration processes using tools such as Jenkins
  
  

Good to Have:

• Experience or Exposure to implementing DevOps for SaaS applications.
• Experience or exposure to Test Driven Development Experience (Junit / TestNG)
• Experience or exposure to Behavior Driven Development Experience (Cucumber / Selenium)
• Experience in Networking Skills.
• Experience of working with mixed onshore/offshore development teams
  
  

Education:

B.E./B. Tech/M.C.A./M.Sc (CS) degree or equivalent from accredited university   

Prior Experience:

3 – 6 years of experience working with in Cloud and DevOps.
