As a DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimising CI/CD pipelines to improve software delivery across a range of applications. You will work closely with development teams to ensure seamless deployments, introduce best-in-class tooling, and drive the adoption of cloud and containerisation technologies. This is a hands-on role where you will have real influence over how DevOps practices evolve within the organisation.
- Define and implement DevSecOps strategies across multiple applications.
- Develop and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines for Java, React, and Python-based applications.
- Lead the migration to a cloud-native deployment model using containerisation.
- Build scalable and reusable DevOps tooling to support software teams.
- Work closely with development teams to enhance observability, logging, and monitoring.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform to automate cloud infrastructure.
- Troubleshoot and resolve build, deployment, and performance issues in test and production environments.
- Strong hands-on experience in DevOps and CI/CD pipeline automation (Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions preferred).
- Proven development experience in Java, React (NPM), or Python.
- Knowledge of containerisation technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Proficiency in scripting languages like Bash, PowerShell, or Python.
- Experience working in agile, fast-paced environments.
- Strong understanding of cloud platforms, networking, and application infrastructure.
- Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Azure Monitor, Datadog, or Prometheus.
- Exposure to GitHub migration (desirable but not essential).
