About the role
Based in our Subiaco head office, the role of HR Generalist is best suited to someone eager to advance their baseline understanding of HR best practices and be integrated into a team of skilled advisors and the wider Altrad business. In this role you will act as a point of contact for coordination of HR activities.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Compile accurate human resources reports including (monthly / weekly KPI tracking, salary data, statutory and ad hoc reports).
- Undertake standard reports for our client base by coordinating with our internal contract or project representatives.
- Support the co-ordination of HR programs for Diversity, Equity & Inclusion
- Assist with the administration of processing visas for our workforce.
- Ensure that the relationships with the contributors to our employee benefits programs are maintained and that the information we make available to employees is accurate.
- Support the service and recognition of our employees by coordinating awards for employee service or outstanding effort.
- Maintaining the HR Services Calendar, which records HR events and milestones that need to be actioned throughout the Calendar year.
- Working with internal stakeholders and the recruitment function to ensure that organisational charts are accurate.
- Assisting the advisory team with their day-to-day activities, including performing HR-related administrative duties (including system administration, the updating of templates and rates updates).
Who do we want to hear from?
- 1+ years’ experience in an Administration or coordination role that is related to Human Resources.
- Suitable for a recent graduate in Human Resources or someone who has recently undertaken a form of study and wants to gain experience.
- For success in this role you would define yourself as people person who aims to build lasting relationships.
- Excellent attention to detail whilst taking pride in a consistent the ability to meet deadlines for operational demand.
