Job Description

The Agile Project Manager plays a crucial role in facilitating agile processes and ensuring smooth delivery of the digital solutions at Epworth HealthCare. The position is responsible for guiding the digital delivery teams in following agile principles, removing impediments, and fostering a collaborative environment that enables continuous improvement. By facilitating daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives and other agile ceremonies, this role helps the teams stay focused on delivering high-quality results within set timelines.

In addition to team support, the Agile Project Manager works closely with stakeholders to ensure alignment between business objectives and technical execution. The position manages timelines, monitor progress and address risks to ensure that the delivery pipeline remains efficient and adaptable, driving the successful release of valuable features and enhancements.

You Will Make an Impact By:

  • Facilitating Agile ceremonies including Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Sprint Review, Retrospective, Scrum of scrums, etc. for multiple delivery teams.
  • Facilitating regular digital showcases with business stakeholders.
  • Working with the Product Manager and Owner to manage and prioritise work through the backlog, driving removal of impediments and ensuring work is tracked and progressing. Manage the teams scrum/task board.
  • Facilitating estimation sessions with the Technical team.
  • Monitoring team performance, create and manage evidence-based metrics, burn up charts and any other required reporting

To Succeed in This Role, you will have:

  • Minimum 3-5+ years experience as a Scrum Master, Delivery Manager or Agile Project Manager
  • Proven experience working in an agile environment, facilitating agile ceremonies and guiding teams through the agile process.
  • Experience managing cross-functional teams, resolving impediments and ensuring timely delivery of projects.
  • Experience developing agile metrics (burndown metrics, velocity, etc.) to analyse and improve sprint planning
  • Experience working with Azure Dev Ops (preferred) or JIRA
  • Experience delivering projects in 24/7 operational environments (desirable)





Qualifications

Essential

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field
  • Certified Scrum Master or Professional Scrum Master certification.

Desirable

  • Master’s degree in a related field.
  • Other relevant agile certifications such as PMI-ACP, SAFe Scrum Master etc.
  • Certifications in project management methodologies (e.g. PMP, PRINCE2)
