About our role:
Our client is a prominent insurance provider in Belgium, recognised for its commitment to innovation and digital transformation within the insurance industry. They are seeking a motivated Digital Product Manager to drive the digital product vision, roadmap, and development processes, working closely with design, technology, and business teams. This role offers the chance to impact the company’s digital journey and strengthen the integration of digital services in an omnichannel approach.
What you will be doing:
- Product strategy and definition: Collaborate with the team to identify product challenges and explore multiple ideas, balancing value creation, usability, and technical feasibility. Contribute to building an omnichannel strategy focused on phygital service and sales.
- Roadmap and prioritisation: Transform the product strategy into a structured roadmap within the omnichannel strategy, ensuring prioritised initiatives are governed effectively.
- Product development: Define digital products and prioritised features that offer an excellent user experience, pragmatically balancing business impact, technology, and user needs.
- Lead initiatives: Champion new initiatives to drive digital product development. Oversee the entire lifecycle, from concept and design to development and delivery, collaborating with Product Designers and the Product Owner.
- Benchmarking and trend analysis: Monitor industry trends and best practices to evaluate and enhance both the digital strategy and the company’s digital products, keeping them competitive and relevant in the market.
What you bring:
- Proven experience in leading digital initiatives with strong skills in stakeholder and change management.
- Expertise in building digital products that benefit users, partners, and the business, with a solid understanding of how to leverage technology and design for a seamless user experience across channels.
- Entrepreneurial spirit with a proactive approach to formulating and executing a vision for digital products and omnichannel services.
- Experience in organising workshops, developing value propositions, and rolling out new methodologies and processes.
- A blend of strategic insight and product knowledge with a pragmatic approach and strong analytical skills.
- Excellent proficiency in Dutch and French, with strong English communication skills.
