Product Owner / Product Manager

We are looking for a Product Owner taking up the challenge to find a good market-product fit for the above products within the Belgian market and provide support for the German market by building up use cases and getting traction. Eventually the aim is to further define and implement the product going forward based on the market-product fit established.

As a Product Owner, you will directly report to the Product Lead (Leader of the Product Line Energy Solutions & Sustainability)

Key activities :

• Develop & communication the product vision & strategy
• Align the product vision & strategy with customer/end-user needs and company goals
• Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders across the organisation and effectively communicate with them on the product vision, strategy and performance
• Support our current and future customers and energy service providers to build or access new services based on their needs related to sustainability
• Participation to events, conferences and workshops with stakeholders pertaining to the products and services in scope
• Ensure understanding and implementation consistent with local (Belgium or Germany) responsibilities and opportunities
• Lead the implementation of the products and functionalities under your responsibility
• Challenge design principles, technical solutions and define operational processes
• In the context of our product approach, take the defined roles in the Product Team’s ceremonies
• Ensure products and services are developed with an eye on the digital transformation and platformisation strategy

Requirements :

• At least five years of experience as Product Owner or Product Manager (for digital software products is a big plus)
• You have experience in the energy sector
• A good knowledge of sustainability concepts within the energy market is essential to be successful in the role
• You communicate fluently in English, complemented by at least Dutch or French. German is considered as a plus
• You can effectively create a product vision and are adept at managing complex stakeholder relationships
• You know how to launch a product to market
• You can collaborate with technical teams to deliver your product
• You can function in a dynamic environment and integrate updates quickly
• You think solution-oriented and are proactive: you propose solutions or alternatives to make progress
• You are customer-oriented and can work independently
• You enjoy working in a team, have an entrepreneurial attitude and are result-oriented
