The role is reporting to the Vice President, Global Anaesthesia & Patient Monitoring Commercial. The key task is to identify, scope and drive forward product innovation projects as well as driving maintenance projects and QA/RA related projects within Anaesthesia. You will also play a central role in the continued development of the strategy for the product category. You will work closely with key customers, our sales organisations and our R&D functions.

Key Responsibilities

- Identifying needs with key customers, sales organisations and R&D
- Making Investigation and innovation briefs
- Build business cases
- Develop value propositions
- Pricing
- Launch preparation
- Ensure progress of development projects, maintenance projects and QA/RA related projects from concept to launch and beyond, incl. overseeing design, prototyping, testing, and market success
- Launch execution and handover to downstream product manager
Skills

- Are self paced and with passion to make a difference
- Have ability to plan ahead and understand alignment and governance needs in a big global organization
- Are cooperative and firm at the same time - driving for progress in a constructive way
- Have experience with product development stage gates & launch excellence process
- Can drive and own new product development opportunities providing expert commercial insights throughout all stages
- Have experience with building business cases, Value propositions and pricing strategy
- Are not afraid to “cross borders” and facilitate/help with tasks not 100% belonging to the classic PM task-list
- Have experience with the challenges in developing and marketing medical devices
- Have a strong and well proven PM toolbox – the four Ps
- Have a master degree in business management/innovation/project management/Engineering or similar
- Ideally have experience with medical device Anaesthesia consumables
