As a Senior UI Engineer, you will work with R&D and UX teams to create sophisticated web applications and user interfaces with exceptional user experience. Technical skills are a given for this role, we also prize initiative, independence, and attention to detail
What you will be doing:
- Collaborating with cross functional teams to help shape how our users interact with our next generation GenAI suite of products
- Architecting and developing sophisticated frontend applications using JavaScript/TypeScript, with a strong emphasis on creating intuitive, beautiful and engaging user experiences
- Working alongside the GenAI R&D team to tightly integrate the UI frontend with the AI backend
- Providing technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and team members
- Enhancing the performance and capabilities of Synopsys' AI-driven products and solutions.
- Driving innovation in AI technologies that power various applications, from automotive to healthcare.
- Owning the interface between Synopsys customers and their next generation AI products
- Minimum master’s degree or bachelor’s with 5+ years of experience in web application development
- Hands on experience in HTML/5, CSS/4, JavaScript/TypeScript, Python
- Solid knowledge of HTTP/2, REST API’s (creating and consuming), node and variation format and data communication in web interfaces.
- Familiarity with JavaScript frameworks and libraries such as React, Angular, or Vue.js is a big plus as is experience in developing standalone application embedded in Electron or QT
- Knowledge of unit testing frameworks like Jest, Mocha
- Widget infrastructure and development
- An independent, self-driven engineer who relishes in working autonomously, taking ownership of a solution from requirements to production
- Passionate about delivering the best possible user experience for our customers
- Strong communicator, able to articulate complex ideas clearly and effectively
- Collaborative and team-oriented, with a proactive approach to work
- Adaptable and eager to learn new technologies and methodologies, unafraid to step out of your comfort zone.
