They focus on optimizing energy use, enhancing grid flexibility, and driving sustainability through innovative storage technologies. With operations expanding across Europe, they aim to lead in providing grid solutions that reduce congestion and improve overall energy efficiency.

Through project acquisition and a healthy pipeline of work, over 100 MWh of operational BESS Assets + 1050 MWh in development, this growth-stage business is scaling with real intent. About the Role:

As the Project Manager (EPC), you will play a key role in the execution of large-scale battery energy storage projects, each with a minimum capacity of 40 MWh. You will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end project lifecycle, leading cross-functional teams, and ensuring timely and successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the tendering, screening, and selection process for EPC contractors.

• Oversee risk management and ensure a seamless handover from the development phase to contractor delivery.

• Negotiate and finalize commercial terms and project scope to ensure alignment with business objectives.

• Lead multidisciplinary teams through all phases of EPC projects, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.

• Develop and execute detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and budget management.

• Coordinate engineering, procurement, and construction activities effectively.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, contractors, and internal teams.

• Monitor project progress, performance, and compliance, providing regular updates to senior management.

• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and safety standards throughout the project lifecycle.

• Conduct site visits and ensure safety protocols are strictly followed.

You have proven experience managing large-scale EPC projects, particularly in the renewable energy sector. You are a strong leader with the ability to motivate both internal and external teams to meet objectives and deliver exceptional results.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of HBO level education.

• Extensive experience managing large-scale projects in energy (BESS, solar, or wind).

• Technical background (electrical, mechanical, or civil engineering preferred).

• Knowledge of energy storage, grid integration, and renewable energy regulations.

• VCA certification (basic and for managers).
