ABOUT PORTO & POSITION:

To support our European intensive growth, the Group has decided to build a large Shared Services Center based in Porto. In this context, we are seeking a Fullstack Developer Junior to join our teams.

Within the Inside Front Office Digital Factory team, the junior fullstack developer will be responsible for maintaining and evolving three in-house applications related to consultant skills & careers, staffing, and organizational sales. Following Digital Factory practices and guidelines.

THE CHALLENGES WE HAVE FOR YOU:

• Support and maintain custom solutions developed in Java, SQL, Angular;
• Analyze and provide support requested by Product Owners & Business Analysts;
• Participate in problem resolution following the SLA;
• Investigate the database and Java code to identify issues;
• Collaborate with L2 solutions analysts to provide L3 support;
• Report risks and issues to senior developers;

PROJECTS & EVOLUTIONS:

• Participate in SCRUM ceremonies (Sprint planning, Sprint review, Daily stand-ups);
• Ensure that User Stories expectations are well understood;
• Analyze specifications, and provide technical solutions, and development estimates with guidance from senior developers;
• Develop the requested features following best practices and lead dev guidelines;
• Assist in testing and communicate delivery status to the Scrum team;
• Collaborate with QA teams to validate developments and ensure quality;
• Contribute to Quality Assurance goals (improve coverage of unit tests, API tests, etc.).
• Knowledge of Java, Angular;
• Strong SQL skills;
• Basic knowledge of design patterns;
• Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively;
• Motivation to learn and adapt to new technologies and practices;
• Fluent English.
