PHP Developer (Operations, Customer Team)

The Customer Team is responsible for:

• E-mail, SMS / Push Notification templates for transactional / non transactional communication.
• Communication gateway algorithm – a service responsible for choosing the best solution for sending the communication based on a specific list of parameters (like costs, reliability, etc).
• Customer details management system – manage all info’s about the clients (Juridical / Natural person, etc)
• Order / Returns history and details – an API App that provides various order information in customer account (eMAG / FashionDays)
• Showroom Priority Pay - Automated order payment and pickup in showrooms (PHP / Angular)

What you’ll have to do:

• Following AGILE development methodologies to deliver high quality software products and client-oriented projects.
• Analyse the project and estimate software development.
• Design, code and test technical solutions while seeking optimal performance and structuring.
• Performing code reviews and contributing to technical design discussions.
• Debug and efficiently correct issues found by testers or peers.
• Proposing improvement ideas for the applications, procedures and technologies used.
• Documenting and sharing knowledge to other team members.

How we’d like you to be:

• Experience with PHP 7+ and MySQL.
• A good understanding of OOP, Design Pattern and SOLID principles.
• Good programming knowledge and in-depth understanding of fundamental web technologies (HTTP Requests, API, REST, HTML, GIT, Unit Tests).
• Previous work experience with any modern Framework (Symfony, Yii, Laravel, Laminas, etc).
• Writing high quality code that is testable and maintainable.
• Staying up to date with emerging technologies/industry trends and apply them into operations and activities.

It is considered a plus/would be nice to have

• Experience with RabbitMQ / Kafka, Memcache, Redis, NoSQL.
• Basic understanding of High Availability, Load Balancing, Performance Tuning, Security, Docker, Puppet, Linux;
