Junior Mobile Android Engineer

Position Overview

Engineer is responsible for managing or performing work across multiple areas of the bank's overall IT Platform/Infrastructure including analysis, development, and administration.

Your key responsibilities:

  • Implement user centric, scalable and maintainable technical solutions for new and our existing native banking apps using a modular Architecture
  • Ensure top performance, code quality, reusability and continuously participate in code reviews
  • Continuously collaborate with cross-functional teams, Product Owner, Scrum Master, UX / UI designers, QA and security specialists in an agile work environment.
  • Participate in developer guilds and enjoy learning/sharing knowledge with the team


Your skills and experience:

  • Proficient in Android development with knowledge of Kotlin, dependency injection and reactive programming
  • Basic knowledge of SOLID principles, design patterns (MVP, MVVM etc.) and general best practices for Android
  • Understanding software engineering best practices, coding standards and documentation
  • First experienced with REST/JSON based service architectures and code versioning (GIT)
  • Have a growth mindset and glad to learn new development concepts
