DevOps Engineer

Location - Stockholm, Hybrid

Full time B2B/ Freelance contract (8 Hours/Day - 5 Days/Week)

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain integration solutions for the Vattenfall Integration Platform.

Manage production systems by resolving incidents, performing root cause analysis, and implementing corrective actions.

Ensure continuous monitoring and performance tuning of integration solutions using the Prometheus and Grafana Monitoring Stack.

Deploy, maintain, and improve CI/CD pipelines using GitLab and YAML.

Automate infrastructure and configurations leveraging Ansible for efficient deployment.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align integration solutions with business requirements and operational goals.

Ensure the integration platform adheres to security and compliance standards through effective security operations.

Actively participate in change management processes, including deploying updates and changes to production systems.

Monitor and enhance integration performance with technologies like Apache NiFi and Apache Kafka.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Professional Expertise in:

Apache NiFi: Building, deploying, and maintaining data flow solutions.

Apache Kafka: Managing event streaming platforms and optimizing data pipelines.

Prometheus and Grafana Monitoring Stack: Monitoring system performance and creating dashboards for insights.

Ansible: Automating IT tasks, including deployment, confi orchestration.

Skilful in:

GitLab and YAML CI/CD Pipelines: Creating and managing efficient and secure deployment pipelines.

Intermediate Knowledge of Linux: Understanding of Linux-based systems for managing and troubleshooting.

Strong problem-solving skills with experience in handling operational incidents production systems.

Demonstrated ability to work with diverse teams and manage complex integrations.

Excellent communication and documentation skills.
