The role: Full Stack PHP Developer - MariaDB/MySQL/Laravel

Contract: Permanent / full-time

Salary: £45k to £50k basic + benefits.

Location: Near to Preston, Lancashire – hybrid role (non-negotiable)

This is a hybrid working role from offices based in Preston, Lancashire. You must already live within a sensible, commutable distance to be considered

The role: Full Stack PHP Web Developer

About you:

• You'll be an experienced PHP Web Developer; with a full-stack background and a minimum of at least 4+ years in a similar role (this is an ideal role for an experienced mid-weight developer to step into)
• You'll have proven MySQL/MariaDB/Laravel and object-oriented development skills, as well as expertise in using frameworks and MVC architecture to create web applications
• You’ll be experienced with HTML5, SCSS/SASS, CCS3, JS, jQuery and Bootstrap; Git version control (particularly on CLI) experience is required, as is the commercial use of phpMyAdmin and general database administration (Linux)
• Ideally you’ll have an understanding of SOLID and design pattern principles as well as experience building and integration REST APIs, implementing concepts such as AJAX and JSON
• A sense of humour is paramount in this role; as are coffee drinking skills & communication skills, technical and layman-terms
