Senior DevOps Manager

Globally recognized Financial partners, new technology initiatives, and an org-wide focus on delivering Security practices, technically and through policy. This is the setting awaiting a DevOps Manager looking to steer the next evolution of a Canadian FInTech Innovator's infrastructure. This Manager will be overseeing a Team of 8 in establishing automation best practices, while being the main voice on scaling upcoming environments.

  • This role is made for a candidate with a strong enough technical background to understand any fires the team might need to put out through personal experience, and enough leadership experience to react and predict to industry changes.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 3+ years in Agile environment (Lead/Management responsibilities)
  • Background guiding/leading environments built on AWS
  • Advanced proficiency with EKS
  • Experience building Ansible playbooks from scratch
  • Previous success architecting Monitoring Solutions

Desired Skills & Experience

  • Advanced knowledge of CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins/ GoCD)
  • Experience with Payment Processing

What You Will Be Doing

Daily Responsibilities

  • 50% Hands On
  • 25% Management Duties
  • 25% Team Collaboration
