What You Do

If you join Centric as a DevOps and Cloud Engineer, you will report functionally to the operational department seated in The Netherlands and help transform our cloud operations and deliver high-performance applications to customers worldwide.

You will play a key role in ensuring the availability, continuity, and reliability of the cloud and virtualization platforms used, including Infrastructure provisioning and integration with (CI/CD) platforms, using existing and emerging technologies.

You'd be part of a dynamic organization transforming at a high pace, working closely with Engineering and Development teams across the globe.

A summary of your responsibilities:

Operate and maintain cloud platforms
Work closely with development teams and automate application deployment processes by using Azure DevOps
Documenting, creating, and maintaining operational processes
Responsible for incident and problem management
Responsible for backup, restore, and disaster recovery
Address technical concerns
Address ideas and suggestions for improving solutions and platforms
Understand company/customer needs to define system specifications
Work closely with Engineering and Development teams and participate in their standups

What You Bring To The Team

Hands-on experience with Cloud providers (we prefer Azure, but AWS or Oracle would be an additional benefit).
Experience in automation of infrastructure and configuration using Terraform, Terragrunt, Ansible, Azure DevOps.
Working experience on virtualization platforms preferably VMware Vcenter.
Knowledge of Microsoft Technologies (AD, Windows Server OS, Powershell).
Good communication skills and abilities to work with remote development teams including abilities to coordinate project flow.
Familiar with monitoring tooling such as Grafana, Prometheus, System Center Operations Manager, Application Insights, and others.

Nice to Have:

Experience in TCP/IP networking, firewalls, and VPNs.
Familiarity with Cloud Adaptation Framework (CAF) & Well-Architected Framework (WAF).
Familiar with the ITIL framework and all related procedures such as incident management, change management, RCA.
Familiar with AGILE methodologies.
Any formal Cloud-based training and any cloud-related industry-accredited certification.

The salary for this position starts from €3500 to €4700 gross per month, depending on the knowledge and experience.
