We are looking for a passionate and dedicated AI/ML Lead Engineer to join our team in Lviv to guide an established team of data engineers, data scientists, and ML engineers in our CasinoEngine AI division. We’re looking for someone with strong expertise in machine learning—particularly in personalization, fraud detection, and NLP/LLMs—who can drive innovation, fraud detection, and NLP/LLMs—who can drive innovation, mentor team members, and ensure solutions align with business goals.

About The Job

What You'll get to do:

• Oversee the ML development lifecycle—from data ingestion and model training to deployment and monitoring.
• Mentor and coordinate the AI/ML team, ensuring best practices in model design, code reviews, and knowledge sharing.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to align AI/ML initiatives with strategic goals and measure their impact.

• Optimize ML pipelines for performance, scalability, and reliability, mitigating model bias and data quality issues.
• Stay on top of emerging AI/ML trends, championing new frameworks and tools to keep the environment cutting-edge.
  
  

What You Need To Know

• Master’s in Data Science (or related field), or at least 4 years of commercial experience in AI/ML.
• Expert-level proficiency in Python and popular AI/ML frameworks/libraries (PyTorch, TensorFlow, scikit-learn, LangChain).

• Proven track record in building and maintaining scalable data/ML pipelines

• Strong knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Proficiency in MLOps concepts.
• Hands-on experience applying ML for personalization, fraud detection, and NLP/LLMs.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor cross-functional AI/ML teams, effectively managing project timelines and resource allocation.

• Excellent communication skills for collaborating with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• English: Upper-Intermediate or higher Nice to Have

• Experience with PostgreSQL and BigQuery

• Experience working with real-time data streaming technologies (Kafka)

• Experience with DBT
• Experience with AirFlow or other orchestration tools
