Location: Central London – 3x Days a Week

Length: 6-12 Months Initial + Extensions

Our client is a leading global commodities brokerage, looking to expand their technology team to drive innovation in a fast-paced environment.

Role Overview

As a Full Stack Developer (Front End Leaning), you will primarily focus on building and maintaining API documentation portals, dashboards, and existing React-based front-end applications. While the role is front-end-heavy, you will also be expected to contribute to their Node.js-based API when needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance, and maintain API documentation portals and admin dashboards.
• Work on existing React-based front-end applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration between front-end and back-end systems.
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of our Node.js-based API.
• Write clean, scalable, and well-documented code.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, team discussions, and brainstorming sessions.

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong expertise in React, TypeScript, and Node.js.
• Experience working with modern JavaScript testing frameworks.
• Familiarity with component libraries and design systems.
• Agile development experience, with a focus on iterative and collaborative work.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Python
• Familiarity with the Cucumber Testing Framework
• Financial Services experience is highly desired – i.e. Front-Office, Algo, Quant, Trading, FX, Asset Management, Commodities, Derivatives, FinTech
