Kotlin Developer (Contract)

Farnham (Office-based)

Contract: 3-6 months (with potential for ongoing engagement)


Our client is a well-established business operating in the building surveying sector. Currently, they survey between 40,000 and 50,000 properties per year and have ambitious plans to expand their operations. They rely on a bespoke software platform, built using Kotlin, to manage their surveying processes and data.


They are seeking a skilled Kotlin Developer to join their team on a contract basis. In this role, you will be responsible for adding new features and functionalities to their custom-built software, as well as providing ongoing maintenance to ensure optimal performance. This is an urgent requirement to support their rapid expansion and evolving business needs.


  • Proven experience in Kotlin development with experience of mobile or backend projects.
  • Ability to quickly understand and work with existing codebases.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience with agile methodologies and working within cross-functional teams is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills and a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
