Back End Developer - Python, Java & Node.js

Location: On-Site, Hybrid or Remote in Switzerland

Responsibilities:

• Develop server-side logic and APIs to support frontend functionality.
• Manage databases, ensuring data integrity and security.
• Integrate ML/AI models into the platform.
• Optimise application performance and scalability.
• Collaborate with frontend developers to define and implement new features.
• Ensure the technical feasibility of backend processes.

Requirements:

• A minimum of an MBA in Computer Science, Mathematics, or Statistics from a top-tier university such as MIT, Stanford, ETH Zurich, or UC Berkeley.
• At least five years of experience as a Backend Developer or in a similar role within a technology-driven company.
• Proficiency in server-side languages such as Python, Java, Node.js, or equivalent.
• Strong understanding of database management systems (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
• Knowledge of security best practices for handling financial transactions.
• Familiarity with payment gateway APIs and integration processes.
• Experience in developing and integrating RESTful APIs.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
