Job Description

We are urgently seeking an AI/NLP/ML Expert to join our Client’s team in Brussels, Belgium.

This senior role is designed for a highly experienced professional in the fields ofArtificial Intelligence (AI), Natural Language Processing (NLP), and Machine Learning (ML)with robust expertise in programming languages, large language models (LLMs), and deploying AI solutions in the cloud. The project demands a hands-on expert who can design, implement, and manage cutting-edge AI solutions in a real-world production environment.

Responsibilities:

As an AI/NLP/ML Expert, you will:

• Design complex AI/NLP/ML solutions tailored to business needs, ensuring scalability, security, and operational efficiency.
• Develop and maintainAI solutions and APIsusing Java and Python.
• LeverageLangChain, OpenAPI, andLLMsfor cutting-edge enhancements such as semantic search and feature learning.
• Deploy and manageAI/NLP/ML modelsin public cloud environments, optimizing performance and ensuring operational robustness.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure alignment of AI functionalities with organizational goals.
• Act as a thought leader and mentor, driving the adoption of best practices in AI/ML development and deployment.
  
  

Qualifications

Programming Expertise:

• 15+ years of experience in Java
• 5+ years of experience in Python
  
  

AI/ML and NLP Skills:

• 3+ years of experiencewith foundational technologies including:
• OpenAPI
• LLMs (Large Language Models),RAG (Retrieval Augmented Generation),Feature Learning, andSemantic Search
• 2+ years of experiencewithLangChainfor NLP workflows
• 3+ years of experienceindeploying and managing AI applications and models in public cloud environments
  
  

Required Attributes and Competencies:

• Demonstrated ability toconceptualize, implement, and manage AI applicationsacross diverse domains.
• Proven expertise insemantic search,retrieval-augmented generation, and cutting-edge NLP tools.
• Strong programming proficiency inJavaandPythonwith a keen eye for optimized code and robust implementations.
• Solid hands-on experience withLangChainand deploying AI/ML models inpublic cloud infrastructureslike AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Deep familiarity withOpenAPI specificationsfor seamless integration of APIs in AI systems.
• Strong analytical problem-solving skills to tackle complex real-world problems using AI/NLP/ML.
