What you`ll do:

As a (Junior) Software Developer with a focus on Generative AI and MLOps, you will play a crucial role in our agile software engineering team, productizing generative AI applications to streamline continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes for SAP HANA, supporting over 1,500 developers. Additionally, you will develop applications that leverage generative AI to automate and optimize operations within the SAP HANA Cloud environment.

Leveraging cutting-edge MLOps methodologies, you will be responsible for bringing generative AI applications into production while ensuring continuous performance monitoring, feedback integration, and model retraining.

Your Role Will Involve

• Exploring and integrating the latest MLOps methodologies into our environment
• Maintaining a cloud-first mindset and applying infrastructure-as-code practices
• Providing insightful and constructive code reviews

What You Bring

• University degree in computer science or a related technical field involving software engineering
• Experience with the programming language Python
• Experience with generative AI technologies
• Familiarity with containerization and Linux/Unix environments
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g. GIT) and constructive code review
• Familiarity with MLOps is a plus
• Understanding of CI/CD concepts and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions) is a plus
• Fluency in German and English, both verbal and written
