Front-End Developer

TLX Technology is a leading software provider for trading applications. In light of our planned expansion, we are seeking a skilled Front-End Developer.

Responsibilities

As a Front-End Developer you will be working in close cooperation with a small, but experienced team of frontend engineers. This means that your work has a great impact and, moreover, you will be working on a variety of things, like the website, account pages, trading layouts, internal tooling, and much more.

• Write high-quality front-end code
• Implement new features
• Improve code quality and performance
• Collaborate with the other developers, the product team, and the designers
• Review code and make sure that new features match the product vision, as well as our security and performance standards
• Improve user experience and fix bugs
• Assist with the UX and general design for new front-end projects

Our tech stack

In your daily work you will be exposed to:

• Frontends of single-page web applications developed in TypeScript using Vue.js 3 and Nuxt 3 frameworks
• REST & WebSocket API
• Automated tests written using Cypress and Vitest

Requirements

To qualify for this role, you should be a creative self-starter who takes responsibility. We are looking for someone with:

• 3+ years of professional work experience, ideally within a scale-up/start-up environment
• Advanced JavaScript/Typescript knowledge
• Experience with one or more JavaScript frameworks such as Vue, Nuxt and React
• Experience with developing responsive websites and/or progressive web apps
• Experience with Git
• Experience with HTML, (S)CSS & Tailwind
• Strong written- and verbal communication skills in English
• Receptiveness to feedback and the ability to learn and adapt quickly
• A positive can-do attitude and a creative mind strong interest in trading and the crypto market

Preferred qualifications

• Experience with unit- and end-to-end testing
• Experience with Test Driven Development (TDD)
• Familiarity with the full web stack, including protocols and server-side techniques
