About The Role

We are looking for an AI Engineer & Cloud-Native Developer to design, implement, and maintain cloud-native applications with a focus on Generative AI and Machine Learning. In this role, you will collaborate with clients to develop cutting-edge AI solutions, modernize applications, and ensure seamless integration and deployment of AI models. You will be involved in technical consulting, complex distributed system development, and cross-functional collaboration with both national and international teams. Responsibilities

Design and develop cloud-native applications with a focus on Generative AI and Machine Learning.
Build and deploy AI models using cloud-based services on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Modernize legacy applications, ensuring they are cloud-optimized and AI-integrated.
Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines, observability, and security best practices for AI-driven applications.
Develop and optimize distributed systems and ML pipelines for large-scale data processing.
Collaborate with clients, product managers, and engineering teams to define AI-driven solutions.
Ensure robust security, compliance, and governance in AI deployments.
Work in cross-functional teams, providing technical guidance and driving AI adoption.
Stay updated with emerging AI/ML trends, cloud technologies, and DevSecOps advancements.

Requirements

Education & Experience:

Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or an equivalent qualification.
Practical experience working with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
Hands-on experience with Generative AI and Machine Learning technologies.

Technical Skills:

Strong programming skills in Python or Java, with experience using frameworks like FastAPI, Spring, and Quarkus.
Proficiency in Machine Learning frameworks such as PyTorch, LangChain, LlamaIndex, and Weaviate Vector DB.
Experience with DevSecOps, CI/CD pipelines, and security tools, including GitHub Actions, GitLab, Jenkins, Kubeflow, Airflow, MLflow, Prometheus, Grafana, and NeuVector.
Knowledge of cloud-native architectures and distributed systems.
Understanding of AI model deployment and lifecycle management.

Soft Skills:

Strong communication and consulting skills, with the ability to engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Ability to work in multicultural, international teams and collaborate effectively in distributed environments.
Fluent in German and English (written and spoken).

Azure AI Engineer Associate, Azure Administrator Associate
AWS Certified Developer, AWS Certified Machine Learning Engineer Associate
Google Associate Cloud Engineer
Certified Kubernetes Developer, NVIDIA-Certified Associate
