About the job
As a Nuclear Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating strategic projects within the nuclear sector. You will ensure the planning, monitoring, and execution of projects, adhering to strict deadlines, budgets, and safety standards.
Main Responsibilities:
- Lead and coordinate nuclear projects from A to Z: from the design phase to completion.
- Develop and monitor the project schedule, ensuring deadlines and allocated budgets are respected.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and nuclear regulations.
- Supervise and manage project teams (internal and external), including engineers, technicians, and subcontractors.
- Manage risks and unforeseen issues by proposing appropriate solutions.
- Produce regular progress reports for management and stakeholders.
- Communicate with clients, suppliers, and partners.
- Participate in the preparation of tenders and contract negotiations.
- Ensure resource optimization and process efficiency.
Required experience
- Education: Engineering degree or Master’s (Bac+5) in Nuclear Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Project Management, scientific studies or a related field.
- Technical Skills: In-depth knowledge of nuclear regulations, standards, and technical challenges (quality, safety, risk management).
- Project Management Skills: Extensive experience in business management, project management tools (MS Project, Primavera, etc.), schedule management, budgeting, and team coordination.
- Required Qualities: Rigor, autonomy, strong analytical and decision-making skills, leadership, good communication, and interpersonal relationship management.
- Languages: Proficiency in French and English (both oral and written).
A past experience in a Nuclear's industry company will be much appreciated.
