Role Description:

We are seeking a talented and experienced Developer to join our greenhouse engineering teams in Eindhoven, Netherlands. The ideal candidate will specialize in building and maintaining software solutions, focusing on modern build systems, algorithm implementation, and infrastructure management.

As a Build Specialist, you will be responsible for the following:

• Software Development in C/C++.
• Working with Modern Build Systems like Bazel, Blaze, and CMake (experience with these tools is a plus).
• Designing and implementing Caching and Build Distribution capabilities.
• Engaging in Software Design & Development, including basic algorithm implementation, Test Driven Development (TDD), and adhering to DevSecOps principles.
• Utilizing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles and cloud tools such as Terraform, Azure, and GCP.
• Applying best practices for SCM systems and Git (GitHub, ClearCase, SVN).
• Involvement in Automated Software Integration & Release processes using tools like GitHub Actions and Jenkins.
• Software Development in environments such as embedded systems and RHEL (Red Hat Enterprise Linux) is an added advantage.

Essential Skills & Experience:

• 8-10 years of experience in software development, focusing on algorithms and compilers.
• Proficient in C/C++ development.
• Strong experience with Modern Build Systems (Bazel, Blaze, CMake) and related tools.
• In-depth understanding of Caching and Build Distribution techniques.
• Experience with Test Driven Development (TDD) and applying DevSecOps principles.
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and cloud tools (Terraform, Azure, GCP).
• Strong knowledge of SCM systems (Git, GitHub, ClearCase, SVN).
• Experience with Automated Software Integration & Release processes (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins).
