Junior P&C Generalist

About the role

As a Junior People & Culture Generalist, you will be an integral part of the P&C team, helping to shape and support our amazing company culture. You'll be working with a dynamic and forward-thinking company committed to creating an exceptional employee experience. You'll have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience across all HR functions in a scale up company, allowing you to directly impact both the day-to-day operations and the long-term success of our colleagues. You'll work closely with the P&C Business Partner to drive initiatives that support the people and the business, all while developing your HR skills in an engaging, supportive environment.

We ask you to

• Support recruitment processes, including job postings, screening, and scheduling interviews.
• Assist with onboarding new hires to ensure a smooth integration into the company.
• Be the first point of contact for employee queries on HR guidelines, benefits, and payroll.
• Work closely with the P&C Business Partner on initiatives like employee development, performance management, and retention.
• Maintain employee records and update HR systems (HRIS) with accurate information.
• Support payroll processing by preparing and verifying relevant employee data.
• Assist in organizing employee engagement activities and company events.
• Build strong relationships with colleagues across all departments.
• Maintain a collaborative, approachable, and solutions-oriented attitude to create a positive employee experience.

• You're a team player with a passion for people and a strong desire to grow in HR.
• You are highly organized, detail-oriented, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Previous experience in an HR role or internship, preferably in a dynamic, growth-oriented company.
• Understanding of basic HR processes, including recruitment, onboarding, and employee relations.
• Familiarity with HR related softwares like: HRIS, Greenhouse, Cultureamp
• Familiarity with Dutch labor laws and employment regulations.
• Empathetic, approachable, and always willing to listen and support employees.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
• Eager to learn, adaptable, and ready to take initiative on HR projects.
