Job Description

The .Net Developer will work from Romania (Bucharest / Cluj offices) while collaborating with the Global MassMutual teams and provide support in the Investment space.

The person who will join this role will report to a local manager.

Goal: Responsible for the end-to-end delivery of working software, including but not limited to infrastructure set up, network set up, development, testing, and deployment.

Responsibilities

Design and implement advanced applications with complex business logic for IDS space
Help improve the overall user experience, making sure our solutions meet the business requirements
Evaluate and recommend new technologies and tools to solve emergent challenges
Engage with team members and be an active contributor in standups, user story mapping, backlog grooming, demos, retros, etc.
Analyze, develop specifications for, and deliver enhancements; debug, solve issues/problems and maintain complex applications or system(s)
Be self-supportive in collaborating with your peers to effectively deliver robust solutions for the business
Write tested, robust code that can be quickly moved into production
Work seamlessly in an agile environment with engineers, product managers, business analysts, and designers to understand end-user requirements
Conduct technical troubleshooting, maintenance, and operational support for production code
Support-what-you-build, including monitoring, performance tuning, and responding to incidents

Requirements

Minimum of 4 years of .NET development experience
Experience in .NET core development, object-oriented programming
Good understanding of various design and architectural patterns including ServiceOriented Architecture/microservices
Experience with a web API framework and ability to design and implement REST Api's
Experience using a DevOps delivery model
Experience and deep understanding of tools including containers, CI/CD - GitHub, Jenkins, Artifactory, Helm, Chef, Ansible, Puppet, etc. and emerging technologies
Experience with batch job scheduling software
Experience with any Cloud products/tools (AWS/Azure/Google)
Good experience with SQL (MySQL, PostgreSQL)
Experience creating and maintaining technical design documentation
Must be self-aware and resilient
Nice to have experience with JavaScript (React.js or Angular) or Python
Nice to have: Investment of financial services domain knowledge
